Buying from us
When you place an order with us, you are making an offer to buy goods. We will send you an e-mail to confirm that we have received your order.
A VAT invoice will be emailed once payment has been received. We do not supply invoices by post.
In the unlikely event that the goods are no longer available, or that we have made a pricing mistake, we will advise you of this.
Goods may be despatched from multiple warehouses and therefore come in multiple consignments. We do this to despatch goods as fast as possible.
If the goods you order are not available, we may supply you with substitute goods. If you decide not to accept the substitute goods, you will not have to pay to return them to us.
How to place an order
We accept orders through our website and by phone on 0191 204 9664, For web orders, we accept all major credit and debit cards. For security reasons, once your payment has been processed we do not store your credit card details either electronically or on paper.
If the item you order from our website is not in stock, we will notify you either by phone or email and will give you the option to either cancel your order or wait until the goods are back in stock.
All products sold at collateit.co.uk come with a 90-day guarantee. If you are not satisfied you may return the goods to us for a full refund no questions asked.
Prices and VAT
As we primarily sell to business all prices shown on this site exclude VAT. The full order price including VAT and delivery will be shown at the checkout.
Although we make every effort to ensure the prices on the website are correct, mistakes may sometimes be made. If we discover a mistake in the price of the products you have ordered prior to their dispatch, we will tell you and give you the option of either reconfirming your order at the correct price or cancelling your order. If we are unable to contact you or we receive no reply from you we will cancel your order.
Collate reserve the right to change prices listed without notice
All orders for products are subject to availability and Collate reserves the right to refuse to supply to any individual or company.
Retention of Title
The title in these goods does not pass to the purchaser until payment in full has been notified by this company.
If the goods are lost or damaged in transit, please let us know promptly, so that we can make a claim against the carriers. We will offer you the choice of a replacement or a full refund.
We charge £6.95 delivery for orders under £45 ex. VAT. Orders over £45 ex VAT qualify for free delivery.
Most orders placed before 2pm are delivered the next working day. Remote areas including the islands and highlands may take longer but should be no more than 3 working days.
As Collate are a business-to-business supplier all our deliveries are made using business parcel services and you must ensure that your delivery address is available to accept deliveries between 9am and 5pm. The carrier will attempt delivery 3 times before returning goods to our warehouse.
In the event of goods being returned by the parcel carrier due to non-delivery we reserve the right to charge for return carriage (£6.95) and re-delivery (£6.95). Failure to pay re-delivery costs will result in goods being held until such time payment is received.
We are committed to protecting your privacy. We will only use the information that we collect about you lawfully in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998).
We collect information about you for 2 reasons: firstly, to process your order and second, to provide you with the best possible service. We will not e-mail you in the future unless you have given us your consent. We will give you the chance to refuse any marketing email from us and we do NOT share any of your personal information with other companies.

Collate has a 90-day returns policy for all products on our website as required under the Distance Selling Regulations of 2000. The following terms and conditions apply to all refunds.
You must inform us in writing by email:within 14 days of receipt of your order.
(the date of delivery will be recorded by our carriers) that you wish to return goods or if you have any damages, faults or shortages.
Collate cannot accept responsibility after this period.
Goods must be returned in their original packaging. Goods should not have been installed, modified or used in any way and should be in an undamaged condition.
For unwanted items the cost of carriage incurred for sending the goods out will be deducted from the refund (usually £6.95) and the customer is responsible for any return carriage.
Collate will in no way be liable for any costs incurred due to faulty goods or shortages.
